About the cafe
A little neighbourhood space in Bangsar, made for everyone to gather.
Tucked into Bayu Angkasa on Jalan Medang Kapas, Porch & Pantry Cafe is a neighbourhood community cafe made for gathering, sharing and staying awhile. Framed by arched windows and marble that catches the morning light, it's a place where coffee meets conversation, good food brings people together, and familiar faces become part of the community. Come for a meal, a coffee, or simply a little time together — there's always a seat at our table.

Our story
How Porch & Pantry started here in Bangsar.
It started with a Merdeka Bazaar.
Founder Stacey Fredericks joined the bazaar as a vendor and, while setting up her booth, an idea sparked — what if this clubhouse could become a community space of her own?
A space for Mums Unite, her love for cooking and coffee, and a place where people could simply meet, connect and linger.
As a life planner, Stacey had also spent years cafe-hopping between meetings, discovering new spaces, brands and ideas along the way. That inspired another part of Porch & Pantry — the Pantry.
Today, the cafe doubles as a little marketplace for mum-owned businesses and local brands, giving them a physical space to showcase their products and be discovered.
What started as an idea during a Merdeka Bazaar became a cafe built around everything Stacey loves: community, coffee, food, people and creating opportunities for others.
Porch — the frontage of the former residence of our ex-Prime Minister made it look like the front porch of a landed house, perfect for a play area. Hence the custom-made wooden playhouse facing the entrance.
Pantry — little corners of the cafe that support local and mum-owned small businesses, with the things you'd find in a pantry sold and promoted to our community right here in the cafe.
Opened January 2026, tucked inside Bayu Angkasa on Jalan Medang Kapas, Bangsar.
